Lead DJ / Staff Mgr / Columbia & Greenville GM
Jeff is one of the most polite people we've ever met. Maybe it's from his military background. Maybe it's how he was raised. Maybe it's his character forged from life experiences. Whatever it's from, it's good. Like that song-that-just-makes-you-happy-and-wanna-dance-good. We met with Jeff and loved him from the start. It was during the busy season and we weren't planning to bring on any new team members until things slowed down, but Jeff remained thorough, caring and professional in his communication with us. It became quickly clear that he was someone we needed to have on our team.
Jeff's communication is as positive as his personality. He's on-time, detailed and considerate. He seeks first to understand others and then delivers what he can do to help. We're honored to have him on our team and we know he'll help make your event a success. Just don't ask him to do his Axl Rose dance.
What song best desribes you as a DJ?
Simple Man. And I love the Shinedown version.
If I were a singer in a band, I'd be...
...I can't sing or play an instrument. But I try to sing karaoke until I'm told to stop. :) If I had to choose, I think I would go with Chris Stapleton. Oh, and Steve Perry, HELLOOOO Journey!!!
What's the worst hairdo you've ever had?
A bowl cut Mullet. (Yes at the same time)
If I'm your DJ, I promise I won't…
...Give you any less than 100% of my best.
What's your go-to dance move?
"I Have No Special Talent. I Am Only Passionately Curious" ~Albert Einstein. However, I think I'm prettty good at the Axl Rose "Snake Dance." I won't ever dress like Axl does here though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiIfWKb81rE
What's your strongest trait as a DJ?
Attention to detail. Love for music. Full of energy, making the last hour just as memorable as the first hour.
My favorite part of DJing Weddings/Events is...
...Making memories for the new couple and seeing smiles on the faces of the people being entertained. Filling the dance floor and watching them enjoy the music as much as I do.
Worst thing you've ever seen at a Wedding...
The Maid of Honor was toasting the Bride and giving their history together. All was quiet while she was talking and someone, who had too much to drink, actually stated "yea yea who cares."
What's your favorite sport?
Baseball (MLB) / Football (NFL)
Atlanta Braves / Pittsburgh Steelers…and anyone playing the Cowboys.
Favorite activities beside DJing?
I umpire Travel baseball for USSSA.
You're too old to...
...have a paper route or be carded when buyng alcohol.
You're too young to...
...collect Social Security. Or make grunting noises when sitting down, but not standing up.
Everyone asks the DJ what their favorite song is...so what's yours?
If I have to choose one, I'll have to go with LL Cool J - I Need Love. Yes I'm a softy.
We used Carolina DJ Professionals for our wedding ceremony and reception this September and they were awesome! From the very beginning the process was very easy and
they were extremely helpful. We had a series of calls with our assigned DJ and we discussed many of the "Must Haves" about the event. There were some things that we were unsure of and he discussed
multiple scenarios for us to consider. He was early on the day of our event and everything went perfect. He was flexible when we needed to make changes and did a great job facilitating things. We
have received numerous compliments from our guests on his music selections and personality. We would absolutely use them again if given the opportunity. We would also recommend them to anyone
planning an event. They allow you to customize everything but can offer suggestions when needed. They are professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They do a fantastic job!
