Lunch & Learn Events for Wedding/Event Pros
Details and Dates are COMING SOON!
When we started our Lunch & Learn (LnL) series in Charlotte in 2018, we had some people in the industry tell us it wouldn't work. There were already "too many networking events." But we knew what we were building was something special. We wanted to create an event FOR PROFESSIONALS, BY PROFESSIONALS. Instead of just attending networking events, we wanted to create something that helped us make our businesses better, our lives easier and that increased our personal and professional joy, in addition to our profits. Read more on the Charlotte LnL page if you'd like to know a little more about me and our thoughts behind the LnLs. Our first year hosting them in Charlotte turned out more amazing than even we could have dreamt of. We had an average attendance of 52 people at each event. Our lowest events had 45 people, and those were ones at venues 45 minutes outside of Charlotte. We had 65-85 people at events within city limits. And this was all in the first year!
So as we expanded to Charleston, we wanted to bring our LnL events here so we could build better relationships with colleagues, help build a better community, and certainly learn from one another. We hope to see you at event listed below!
We'll meet the 3rd Thursday of every month from 11:30am-1:00pm. We've created a great collection of topics, venues and speakers I think are beneficial to everyone, no matter what area of the industry you're in!
Date: Thursday, 9/19/19
Topic: Leveraging Time for Success: 10 Steps in Time Management
Speaker: Troy Adams
Catered Meal by: TBD
Talk Details: Feel like your schedule runs you instead of you running your schedule? Maybe emails are overwhelming? Or distractions kill your productivity? Are you able to pursue goals and creative interests? I'll share 10 steps to take control of your business, your life & your goals. I've applied these practices over the years and they've changed my life. I believe they can help yours also. We can make more money, but we can't make more time. Or can we with better use of it?! With a growing family and that being my priority, this is a topic I'm very passionate about. I hope to see you there!
